This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: Map of railways in the New England states : engraved expressly for Snow's pathfinder railway guide, engraved in relief for Power Press Printing by W.C. Sharp. It was published in Snow's Pathfinder railway guide, week ending Saturday, May 9, 1863. Scale not given. Covers Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and portions of New York, Maine, and the provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick, Canada. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the USA Contiguous Albers Equal Area Conic projection (Meters).
