Atlas of Tidal Restrictions on the South Shore of Massachusetts - Study Area

This dataset shows the general extent of the report, "Atlas of Tidal Restrictions on the South Shore of Massachusetts," prepared by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council and funded and prepared at the request of the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs Massachusetts Wetlands Restoration Program. The Atlas was published in December 2001 and it "identifies, inventories and prioritizes Massachusetts South Shore tidal restrictions that may adversely impact upstream tidal wetlands" according to the Purpose and Goals section of the Atlas. The municipalities included in the Atlas are Weymouth, Hingham, Hull, Cohasset, Scituate, Norwell, Marshfield, Duxbury, Kingston, and Plymouth.
