Separation Zone

CZM digitized separation zones from current National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) nautical charts. A traffic separation zone is a zone separating the lanes in which ships are proceeding in opposite or nearly opposite directions; or separating traffic lanes designated for particular classes of ships proceeding in the same direction (IMO Ships Routeing, 6th Edition).
