Relief shown by shading. "This map depicts biodiversity protection status based on four land management categories. These categories were derived from land ownership and administration data, and represent the degree of protection of potential wildlife habitat. Vegetation cover types are shown for status 1 and 2 only. Data for categories 3 and 4 were filtered to eliminate areas less than 1 square mile in size, and are shown by gray and pink tints, respectively, overlaid on a Landsat Thematic Mapper base."
