Relief shown by hachures and spot heights. At bottom of each sheet: drawn & engraved by John Bartholomew F.R.G.S. Each sheet originally dissected in 36 pieces, mounted on cloth, and folded in covers 15 x 10 cm. In upper margin: Imperial map of England & Wales. Historic Maps is missing some of the sheets. Historic Maps copy: In upper margin of sheet 11: Large map of England & Wales.
