- auct. Hen. Hondio. Decorated with sailing ships, fish and other animals. Relief shown pictorially. Latitudinal and longitudinal lines along margin. Decorative cartouche, fauna within continent (e.g. elephants), ships, sea monsters, mermaid and merman. Shows topography, waterways, ports. From Jansson's Nieuwen atlas, ofte Werelt-beschrijvinge, Amsterdam, 1657-1687. This copy has pencil inscription in lower left: 78. French text on verso.
