Decorative cartouche, compass rose. Shows topography, waterways. From De Jode’s Speculum orbis terrarum, Antwerp, first published in 1578, reissued by Cornelis in 1593. This copy has pencil inscription in lower left: 84. “8” on verso, and Latin text.
