Includes a dedication with a decorative cartouche: To the truly honourable, because truly pious, Robert Nelson esq., this map, as a token of my extraordinary esteem for his extraordinary zeal in promoting the glory of God, & ye salvation of men, by his good example, excellent writings, & diffusive charity, is humbly dedicated by me Edward Wells D.D. Shows topography, drainage, travel routes, places of historical interest. Inset map: A draught of the places adjoyning to Constantinople and mentioned in the ecclesiastical histories.
