Based on maps by the Istituto geografico militare. Set includes various issues of some sheets; some reproduced by 512 (A. Fd. Svy.) Coy., RE.; some by units of British Middle East Forces (M.D.R. 343); some by units of British Eights Army (W.D.R. 343); some reissued by U.S. Army Map Service with series designation: Provisional G.S.G.S. 3980.
