- Kartographische Anstalt Freytag-Berndt u. Artaria. Tourist information overprinted on topographic base. Relief shown by contours, shading, spot heights, hachures and landform drawings. Includes adjoining countries: Switzerland east of Rhein River, Liechtenstein and parts of northern Italy south to Verona. Points of interest, shelters, and various classes of roads, railroads, and trails are shown. Title on some sheets: Freytag-Berndt wanderkarte. Each sheet is numbered and individually named in upper right margin. Some sheets include title panel, set index, key to abbreviations, and names to adjoining sheets in margins. Verso may have outline map of area and text. Some sheets accompanied by texts. Some sheets designed to be folded to 21 x 13 cm. Older maps in German only. Newer maps may include legends in German, English, and French, or in German, English and Italian.
