Descriptive text accompanies maps (including index numbers); descriptive text on maps. Decorative cartouches, banners, compass roses, bar scales. Maps show topography, vegetation, waterways, routes. Illustrations of settlements, figures, fauna, ships, sea monsters. Maps are indexed. Map 12 is a bird's eye view, including city plan of Jerusalem (title translation: Jerusalem, and its surroundings, as it was at the time of Christ).
