- Relief shown pictorially. 2 bar scales on map, given in "Milliaria Germanica communia" and "Milliaria Gallica communia." Index numbers along coastlines but no apparent key. Oriented with north to right of sheet. Decorative cartouche, compass roses, rhumb lines, ships, cherubs. Shows topography, vegetation, waterways, ports. Includes Ceylon. One of the earliest Dutch charts of the region. Appears in Jansson's Atlantis majoris quinta pars..., Amsterdam, 1657. This copy has pencil inscriptions at bottom of sheet: 27; Jansson Amsterdam c 1658.
