- California as an island with indented northern coast. Island called Pararos close to western coast, and between 230-240 deg. W long. are 3 islands: la Vefina, Morges, and la Disgraciade. Terra Esonis, Yedso and Iaponiæ Ins. to northwest, and Nova Guinea, Insulæ Salomonis and Quiri Regio to southwest. Title cartouche same as on his 1670 map and those of Danckerts, Visscher, and others, with a native chief under an umbrella to left of title. Copied by Danckerts. Issued in: Atlas minor sive geographia compendiosa in qva orbis terrarvm pavcis ... : Atlas nouveau, contenant toutes les parties du monde ... , Amsterdam, R. & J. Ottens, [1695-1756?]. Per Fred.
