This line shapefile represents the borders for regional boundaries used in California recreational fishery regulations. These polylines extend offshore at the California Oregon border, at 40° 10' latitude (near Cape Mendocino), and at 38° 00' latitude (near Pt. Reyes). These boundaries specify north, central, and south regions for the waters off the California coast as specified in fishery regulations of 2002.
