- Relief shown by shading. 2 bar scales on map, given in "Milliaria Magna" and "Milliaria communia." Latitudinal and longitudinal lines along margins. Key on left. Decorative cartouches, shield. Shows topography, vegetation, waterways, routes. Pictorial vignettes of settlements, soldiers in battle. Descriptive text in cartouche, and throughout. First published by Blaeu in 1613, with patronage of Prince Mikolaj Krysztof Radziwill. Inset map in 2 strips: Campus inter Bohum et Boristhenem. Appears in Hondius' Mercator-Hondius Atlas, 1633, French edition. This copy has pencil inscriptions in lower left: 405; and upper right: Hondius Mercator, 1633 a French edition. French text on verso: La Litvanie ... ; La Samogitie ...
