Coordinates approximate and based on Greenwich meridian. Maps have latitudinal and longitudinal lines, bar scales, decorative cartouches (including figures, ships, flora, fauna, and vignettes, such as dog-sledding on Map 43). Maps show topography, vegetation, waterways, shoals, islands, political boundaries. Maps numbered in upper right margins.
