- Map of the Bethal area showing provincial boundaries, magisterial district boundaries and names, ward boundaries and names, townlands, "native location" boundaries, mining district boundaries and names, proclaimed government ground, discoverer's rights, ground set aside for disposal under settler's ordinance, farm names, beacons and boundaries (with sub-divisions, if any), unsurveyed farms, railways under traffic, telegraph lines, proclaimed main roads, main branch and other roads, homesteads and houses, kraals, post and telegraph offices, geodetic survey stations, mission stations and police stations. Relief shown by contours and spot heights. 2 bar scales on map, given in "English Miles" and "Cape Roods." "Computed and compiled from the Farm Surveys of the Transvaal and all available material." Folds into an outer cover (20 x 12 cm).
