This polygon shapefile contians classifies bedrock and surficial geologic units into soil profile types delineated in table 16-J of the 1997 Uniform Building Code (UBC). This layer is part of a collection describing Geology resources and constraints Monterey County, California. The data in this set are intended to provide an approximate value of the UBC site class for planning purposes.
