- 2010 population census data for all counties and urban districts of Mainland China. Contains data for 160 variables from the short form (CensusA) and the long form (CensusL) census forms. Data is available in shapefile format for use in a GIS and in Microsoft Excel format for use as tabular data. Data in ESRI shapefile and Microsoft Excel format. Title from disc label. "CDC-A-2013-001." System requirements: CD-ROM drive and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software that reads ESRI shapefile format and/or Microsoft Excel. Selected attribute data and metadata in English and Chinese. Includes also README.htm files containing layer metadata and Microsoft Excel files with attribute definitions.
