This line dataset represents the barrier or security fence that runs between Israeli land and the occupied Palestinian territories. Construction of the wall began in 1994 and the wall stands in various degrees of completion, dividing the West Bank from Israel. Wall materials range from concrete to barbed wire. This datalayer is current to year 2010 and updates are based on information from the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
