This line dataset represents road networks in Nairobi. The Nairobi Roads file was created by manually digitizing a map which was prepared jointly by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Government of the Republic of Kenya under the Japanese Government Technical Cooperation Program. It represents all the major and minor roads within the boundaries of City of Nairobi, Kenya. This data was developed for a Columbia University Earth Institute research team interested in using it in a transporation model. Given this purpose the most important compoenent of the data is it's network capabilities.
